These include streets with speed limits of 25 mph as well <br />as arterials where separated bicycle lanes or shared-use paths provide extra protection between bicyclists and <br />vehicles. While a few recently upgraded corridors provide safer conditions, such as the Class IV separated bike <br />lanes on W Las Positas Boulevard, the majority of the Focus Network requires targeted bicycle infrastructure <br />investments to reduce stress and encourage active transportation.
