Corridors are ranked by combining technical corridor scores with community input. Normalized technical scores are weighted at 80% and normalized
community votes are weighted at 20% to produce the final corridor ranking.
3. The recommended alternate low-stress bicycle route through Downtown follows the parallel Old Bernal Avenue–Peters Avenue–St. John Street corridor.
Bold indicates top 5 ranked bicycle and top 5 ranked pedestrian projects.
1. Corridor scores are calculated using a modal-weighted average that combines bicycle segment and pedestrian intersection improvement scores. Bicycle
scores are based on a length-weighted average of individual segments, while pedestrian scores are calculated as the average of individual intersection
improvements. For corridors containing both modes, each score receives equal weight (50%), while bicycle-only corridors rely entirely on the bicycle score.
