04 <br />48 | 2026 PLEASANTON BICYCLE AND PEDESTRIAN MASTER PLAN <br />EXISTING CONDITIONS AND NETWORK EVALUATION <br />The results of the safety, and LTS analyses were synthesized to identify the primary safety, comfort, and connectivity needs <br />along the Focus Network. The needs assessment considered corridor conditions, key barriers, crash history, and opportunities <br />to improve connections to important destinations. The findings identified locations where targeted infrastructure improvements <br />could most effectively reduce barriers to walking and bicycling and informed the recommended improvements to the bicycle <br />and pedestrian network presented in Chapter 4. The technical findings also served as an input to the project prioritization pro- <br />cess described in Chapter 6.
