ATTACHMENT 2 RESOLUTION NO. A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON TO APPROVE AN AGREEMENT WITH PORTERHOUSE SLED, LLC FOR THE FINANCIAL PLANNING AND MONITORING SOFTWARE SUBSCRIPTION SERVICES FOR TEN YEARS IN THE AMOUNT OF $411,473 AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton desires to implement and use Workday’s Adaptive Planning financial software; and WHEREAS, Porterhouse SLED, LLC, which is the designated services partner with Workday, has the necessary qualifications, experience, and ability to implement the required software and web-based solutions for budget development and monitoring; and WHEREAS, the City has negotiated an agreement with Porterhouse SLED, LLC for implementation of Workday’s Adaptive Planning software solution and ongoing subscription services for their online budget book and related transparency tools; and WHEREAS, the City worked with four different vendors and received price quotes, and determined that Workday, Inc. and Porterhouse SLED, LLC presented the most affordable package, consisting of implementation of the financial planning and monitoring software, online budget book, and related transparency tools, as well as ongoing subscription costs over a ten- year period; and WHEREAS, the total compensation under the agreement shall not exceed $411,473, unless otherwise authorized in accordance with City procedures; and WHEREAS, funding for the agreement is available in the Finance Department’s budget in the General Fund (00116000-430107); and WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the staff report, the proposed agreement, and all information presented at its regular meeting on October 6, 2026. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER THE FOLLOWING: SECTION 1. The City Council approves the agreement with Porterhouse SLED, LLC for implementation of Workday’s Adaptive Planning software solution and ongoing subscription services for online budget book and related transparency tools in an amount not to exceed $411,473 over a ten-year period. SECTION 2. The City Manager is authorized to execute the agreement, subject to minor modifications approved by the City Attorney. SECTION 3. The City Manager, or designee, is authorized to take all actions necessary to implement the agreement, including execution of related documents, notices, amendments, extensions, and administrative actions, provided such actions are consistent with the approved budget and City policies.
