<br />ATTACHMENT D <br /> <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, ALAMEDA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 05-. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A (HOUSING ENABLED BY LOCAL <br />PARTNERSHIPS) H.E.L.P. LOAN AGREEMENT WITH <br />THE CALIFORNIA HOUSING FINANCE AGENCY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Housing Element of the City's General Plan includes goals and policies <br />promoting affordable assisted liying; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasant on submitted an application to the California Housing Finance <br />Agency (CaIHF A) Housing Enabled by Local Partnerships (HELP) program in <br />April 2005 for the purpose of supporting a lOS-unit assisted liying development <br />with 31 affordable units; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City ofPleasanton's application was approyed by CaIHFA for an amount of <br />$ I.5 million; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOL YES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Council approves the loan agreement in the amount of$1.5 million as included in <br />Exhibit One. <br /> <br />Section 2: Council approves the allocation of the $1.5 million HELP loan to meet <br />construction expenses for the assisted liying development planned on a City <br />owned 3.59 acre site located at Sunol Boulevard and Junipero Street. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effectiye immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />I HEREBY CERTIFY THAT THE FOREGOING WAS DULY AND <br />REGULARLY ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, AT <br />A MEETING HELD ON 2005 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br />ABSTAIN: <br /> <br />Councilmembers - <br />None <br />None <br />None <br />
