RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO ORDER IMPROVEMENTS, LANDSCAPE ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 1984-1 (PURSUANT TO THE LANDSCAPING AND LIGHTING ACT OF 1972) THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Section 2. Section 3. Section 4. Section 5. Section 6. The City Council intends to levy and collect assessments within Landscape Assessment District No. 1984-1 during fiscal year 2006/07. The area ofland to be assessed is located in the City of Pleasanton, Alameda County. The improvements to be made in this assessment district are generally described as follows: Maintenance of a landscaped strip north of Corte de Flores on the west side of Paseo Santa Cruz and north of Corte Pacifica on the east side of Pas eo Santa Cruz. In accordance with this Council's resolution directing the filing of an annual report, Philip A. Grubstick, Engineer of Work, has filed with the Deputy City Clerk the report required by the Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972. All interested persons are referred to that report for a full and detailed description of the improvements, the boundaries of the assessments upon assessable lots and parcels of land within the assessment district. On Tuesday, the 18th day of July 2006, at the hour of 7:00 pm, the City Council will conduct a public hearing on the question of the levy of the proposed annual assessment. The hearing will be located in the City Council Chambers, 200 Old Bernal Avenue, Pleasanton, California. The Deputy City Clerk is authorized and directed to give the notice of hearing required by the Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972.
