<br />.~ : <br />,. <br />, <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1709 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROVING PREZONING OF <br />APPROXIMA TEL Y 34.5 ACRES LOCATED ON Born <br />SIDES OF TRENERY DRIVE WESTERLY OF <br />MARTIN A VENUE, AS FILED UNDER CASE RZ-97-02 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an application to prezone approximately 34.S acres located on both sides of <br />Trenery Drive westerly of Martin Avenue (2201,2207,2215,2221, and <br />2313 Martin Avenue, and 3547,3711,3737,3747, and 3757 Tr-enery <br />Drive) to the PUD (Planned Unit Development) - LDR (Low Density <br />Residential) District has been proposed by the City of Pkasanton; and <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, based on the Initial Environmental Study, a negative declaration was <br />adopted by Council on March 18, 1997; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council received the Planning Commission's recommendations f-or <br />approval for the prezoning; and <br /> <br />. WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on March 18, 1997; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council fmds that the proposed prezoning is consistent with the <br />General Plan policies of the City of Pkasanton. <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the prezoning of approximately 34.5 acres located on both sides <br />ofTrenery Drive westerly of Martin Avenue to the Pun (Planned Unit <br />Development) - LDR (Low Density Residential) District with a maximum <br />density approaching 2.0 dwelling units per gross acre and discouraging new <br />street connections to Trenery Drive. <br /> <br />Section 2: The Zoning Map of the City of Pleasant on dated April 18, 1960 on file with <br />the City Clerk, designating and dividing the City into Zoning Dis1l'kts is <br />hereby amended by Zoning Unit Map No. 432, attached her-eto as Exhibit <br />"A", dated March 18, 1997, and incorporated herein by this ref-erence. <br /> <br />. <br />
