Ponderosa Project

> Have you sent out a mailer request to all of the thousand or two people who you all may feel is impacted by the project
that asks for written comments like you wanted in that meeting? I don't think it is fair to anyone who couldn't attend to
expect "the network" to inform them that they had to do this. <

You're correct, it isn't "to expect the 'network' to inform the them" which is why we sent out the public meeting notice to the
same area that we sent the neighborhood meeting notices to. 'The public hearing notice includes an invitation to contact
me withcomments and includes my telephone number, email address, and mailing address. This is a work session not a
public hearing. Hence, there will still be plenty of time up to the Pianning Commission public hearing, yet to be scheduled,

> How much time are YOl!giving the neighborhood to get comments, feedback or what ever, back to you? I have never
been informed of any timeframes. <

In terms of timing or deadlines. There isn't a deadline per se, but comments received before the staff is published - typically
the Thursday before the Planning Commission - will be attached to the staff report forwarded to the Planning Commission
or, if received after the staff report is published, will be forwarded to the Planning Commission under separate cover.

> Also, I have never received anything on e-mail as you stated we wouid. Why? No one else has either. <

Because we haven't published the staff report yet. The Planning Commission staff report will be converted to a PDF file,
and emailed to anyone who included their email address on the sign-in sheet at the neighborhood meeting. Additionally,
these same people will be sent the staff report via snail mail. Anyone else who calls or emails requesting an emailed copy
of the report will also receive one.

> What happened to all my many, many comments and what weight do they carry? <

/2006
