Pavan,

lllended the neighborhood meeting last month regarding this project, but still had a few concerns about the development. Most
lportant at this stage, I'm concerned about the increased traffic and its impact on our neighborhood. Our entire family uses
3meron routinely to access school, visit friends, and for recreational walkinglbike riding. I'm concerned that an increase in traffic
thout a designated walk way or bike path is very risky. I would like to see a pathway on Cameron that is similar to that in current
;e on Martin Avenue.

lditionally, I am concerned about the increase in traffic on Kamp Avenue. The traffic circles seem to impose a great risk to
,destrians and bike riders, especially that near the Nielsen Park. We often use Kamp to access the park, either by foot or bikes,
Id I'm concerned for my family's safety with the proposed increase in traffic. Will the city assess and possibly replace those
Iffic circles (which do very little to slow the speed of cars) with something that will effectively manage the increase in traffic on
m~ -

stly, I mentioned to you at the meeting that as a Palmer Drive resident, I have property that will border the development. Due to
, shallow lot, I am very concerned about the set backs for structures such as storage sheds and pool equipment. In the summer
th our bedroom windows open, we will certainly hear any activity close to the fence line. The Ponderosa developers initially
Jposed a 20 foot setback for such structures. I think 20 feet should be considered a minimum. I would like this to also apply to
>rage of vehicles, such as RVs, that will extend above the fence line.

'ould like to also mention that my fellow neighbors talk often about this project and we are all aware of the negative impact the
velopment will bring to the idyllic selling that we have had the good fortune to enjoy for 15 years. I am also aware that many
ople have not yet taken the time to personally communicate with you regarding their concerns. Please do not presume this
Iicates a lack of interest about the development.

lcerely,

lice Cain
33 Palmer Drive

'2006
