MANDATORY FINDINGS OF SIGNIFICANCE

Issues

Mandatorv Findine:s of Sie:nificance
Would the project:

a) Does the project have the potential to degrade the qual-
ity of the environment, substantially reduce the habitat
of a fish or wildlife species, cause a fish or wildlife
population to drop below self-sustaining levels,
threaten to eliminate a plant or animal community, re-
duce the number or restrict the range of a rare or en-
dangered plant or animal or eliminate important exam-
ples of the major periods of Califomia history or pre-
history?

b) Does the project have impacts that are individually
limited, but cumulatively considerable? ("Cumula-
tively considerable" means that the incremental effects
of a project are considerable when viewed in connec-
tion with the effects of past projects, the effects of
other current projects, and the effects of probable fu-
ture projects)?

c) Does the project have environmental effects, which
will cause substantial adverse effects on human beings,
either directly or indirectly?

Discussion

Potentially
Significant
Impact

Less Than
Significant
With Mitigation
Incorporated

No
Impact

Less Than
Significant
Impact

o

o

[K]

o

o

o

[K]

o

D

D

[K]

D

The project proposes to re-subdivide 19.87-acres into 27 parcels creating 25 buildable lots varying in
size from 20,786 square feet (OA8-acres) to 35,755 square feet (0.82-acres). This development is
consistent with the Pleasanton General Plan land use designation of Low Density Residential (< 2.0
du/ac). The project will not include any activities or uses causing substantial adverse effects on human
beings either directly or indirectly or on the environment. The project has been designed to meet the
general development standards required by the City of P1easanton and will incorporate conditions of
approval to meet local codes and regulations. The project design and conditions of approval reduces
potential impacts to a less-than-significant-impact or no-impact.

PUD-50 and PTR-5572

Page 35 of36

June 7, 2006
