FOr any service connection larger than listed above, the City Engineer or <br />his duly appointed representative will determine the charge; or a battery <br />of meters may be used at the City Engineer's option. <br /> <br />Any change in use or addition requiring greater capacity will require the <br />payment of additional fees at the rams established herein as a condition of <br />continued service. <br /> <br />Water Connection Fee Surcharge for Area of Benefit of Additional Bonde Zone <br />Reservoir <br /> <br />Within the Area of Benefit as shown on the Exhibit labeled "Area of <br />Benefit of Additional Bonde Zone Water Reservoir", there shall be an <br />additional water connection fee surcharge as follows: <br /> <br />1992 $2,600 <br />1993 2,912 <br />1994 3,261 <br /> <br />The surcharge shall increase each lanuary 1 by twelve ~rcent for <br />each year therea~r. <br /> <br />The Area of Benefit is intended to include all prOperties serviced by the <br />Bonde Zone reservoir which are those properties between the elevations <br />of apprOximately 390. feet and 550 feet and all properties at higher <br />elevations which take water from the Bonde Zone reservoir. <br /> <br />Upon recommendation of the City Engineer and approval of the City <br />Council, the amount of this fee may be reduced for connections above the <br />Bonde Zone, upon a showing of exceptional water system improvement <br />costs that make the full fee inequitable. <br /> <br />This water connection fee surcharge (-"surcharge") shall be due and <br />payable prior to the filing of the final map for any additional lots created <br />within the Area of Benefit. <br /> <br />In the event the surcharge has not been collected for a lot or housing unit <br />prior to application for a building permit, then the surcharge shall be pa~d <br />prior to issuance of a building permit. <br /> <br />(water. fee) <br /> <br />29 <br /> <br /> <br />
