Marion Pavan
Page 4

July 12, 2006
ROOn

CSA Corrunent - We have brought this issue to the attention of the Project
Geotechnical Engineer and they have responded with their recorrunendations.
With respect to the use of subdrains in the storm drain trenches, a concern
would be that if the level of water in the catch basin rises above the subdrain
outlet, the water may enter the trench backfill via the sub drain.

2f. Bio-Retention Basin - BGC notes our corrunents that when plans for a bio-
retention basin for handling storm water runoff are developed, they be
reviewed and corrunented on by the Project Geotechnical Consultant.

CSA Response - No corrunents at this time.

LIMITATIONS

This review has been performed to provide technical advice to assist the City with
discretionary permit decisions. Our services have been limited to review of the documents
previously identified, and a visual review of the property.
