Extreme thought and care shall be taken in
designing garage entries. Views of garages
from the public streets should be minimized.
Side loading garages with doors
perpendicular to the street are preferred.
Street facing garage entries shall utilize
foundation, wall and roof offsets to mitigate
the size and effect of the doors. Doors shall
be sectional roll-up. Doors should be built
of wood except in rare cases where other
materials are appropriate to the
architectural style. Doublewide garage doors should be avoided and are only allowed at
side entries. Garage doors with abstract window patterns inconsistent with the style
chosen for the residence are not allowed. All homes must have a minimum of two
enclosed parking spaces. Porte-cocheres are allowed, although they must be well
integrated with the site plan, landscape plan, and building architecture and be
appropriately scaled. Hollywood (double) driveways are allowed only where their use
does not require significant additional grading.

3-\l_GARAGES

Exterior walls may incorporate any of the following:
brick, stucco, stone or wood.

3.JD--FXTF RIORMATERIALS

An excessive number of building materials should not be
used on any exterior wall.

The architect or designer is encouraged to use natural
woods such as redwood or cedar for siding.
