I am completely again est the this <br />proposal for the following reasons, and there for request a modification of plans to eliminate the second story <br />portion of the addition. <br /> <br />1. The neighborhood was not designed to have a second <br /> <br />story home it that specific location. <br /> <br />2. The privacy of my home would be compromised. This <br />sore. <br />This would leave our bedrooms and rear portion of the <br /> <br />proposed addition would be intrusive and an eye <br /> <br />home no privacy. <br /> <br />3. There would be a negative impact on future property <br /> <br />values. No one wants an obstruction facing them. <br /> <br />4. My present view would be obstructed, and deminished. <br /> <br />5. The daily sun light would be restricted and change the <br />surrounding homes. <br /> <br />complete complexion of my home and the <br /> <br />This neighboorhood was designed and staged on a hill with all the homes moved back or forward on their <br />property lines so there would be privacy and still afford a view and ample sunlight. If this addtion is granted it <br />would change this design and be the start of a degrade of the original planners intent and design. An addition on <br />a single story basis would retain the consistency of the neighborhood and still partially satisfy the owners <br />proposal. The owner and the city must consider these facts and act in compromise to this proposed permit. <br /> <br />I recently replaced fences and they required permits. My neighbor below me did not want a fence to obscure their <br />view and I was notified by the planning office of their concern. I restrucred my plans and eliminated the last <br />portion of the fence. I compromised my desires to remain a caring and considerate neighbor.
