I will speak to the neighbors and see if we can have a informal discussion with
the Knights. I know that the neighbors would very much appreciate a direct involvement from you in this project.

I would request that you review the emails, and all the correspondence in the file; as of this date some questions
posed have still not been addressed. I would be more than willing to have you visit the neighborhood and homes
to see the proposed outcome of this project. Donna had agreed to do this but has not yet done so. Natalie has
been very helpful in her dealings with us, but no disrespect lacks experience. She is an asset to the city and will
develop as times ensues.

I understand that this project is small in comparison too some of the issues you are faced with daily; but the
impact is large for the neighbors and the community and the precedent that it can create.

I feel that more dialog from all parties would be a step in the right direction to the resolution to this project. I will
abide by your request any communicate with Natalie regarding any meetings.

I stated to both Natalie and Donna last week. I am sorry to hear that there has not been consensus reached regarding this matter, and would be happy
to take a more direct role in the project It's encouraging that you believe that a compromise can be reached,
and if there is anything I can do to facilitate that, I will.

We were originally going to bring this appiication to the Planning Commission at its Apri/12 meeting; however,
the Commission canceled that meeting. Therefore, Donna Decker decided to hold a Zoning Administrator
hearing on Aprii 13 in order to move the project forward. We will try to arrange another meeting to discuss this
informally. Is your idea to hold another meeting with the applicant and affected neighbors, or just you and staff,
or some other arrangement? Please work with Natalie Amos to arrange a time for the meeting and who that
meeting wouid include. Donna is on vacation this week.

6/9/2006
