I will add it to the file and include it in the staff report to the Planning Commission.
Attached is the assessor's information regarding your property. Based on this information, your proposed square
footage and lot size has to be changed. According to the assessor, your lot size is 7,815 square-feet (not 8,378
as stated on the plans) and your existing living area square footage is 1,541 square-feet (not 1,394). The total
proposed square footage would have to be reduced by 106 square-feet; which would put your FAR at the 40%
max for your zoning district. If you could check your Title Report and let me know what the lot size is stated there
that would be helpful (it may be different then what the assessor's paper states). Peter's lot numbers are similar to
those that are on the subdivision map tract for your property that the City has, so I will check with him to see how
he came up with the square footage indicated on the site plans.

Please let me know if you have any questions or comments.

Sincerely,

Natalie E .A.mos
.A.ssistant Planner
CITY OF PLEASANTON
(925) 931-5613

Planning and Community Development
PO Box 520
Pleasanton. I have pasted it into this e-
mail and also attached the same as a Word document. Let me know if you have any questions about it.

Stan Knight

Position statement from the Knights on their proposal to add a second story addition to their
home at 779 Mirador Court, in Pleasanton.

We moved to this home in Pleasanton Heights in 1996 and have thoroughly enjoyed this neighborhood
over the past ten years. When we purchased the property we had one child, but planned to have additional
children, and realized that we would very likely outgrow the house as our family grew and our need for
space increased. At the time we made our decision to buy this home, we knew we would either have to
move to a larger home at some point in the future or potentially expand our existing floor plan by adding

6/9/2006
