Imperiale,

I have reviewed the ptans of your neighbor's proposed addition and discussed the issues related to it with my
staff. I am sorry to hear that there has not been consensus reached regarding this matter, and would be happy to
take a more direct role in the project. It's encouraging that you believe that a compromise can be reached, and if
there is anything I can do to facilitate that, I will.

We were originally going to bring this application to the Planning Commission at its April 12 meeting: however, the
Commission canceled that meeting. Therefore, Donna Decker decided to hold a Zoning Administrator hearing on
April 13 in order to move the project forward. We will try to arrange another meeting to discuss this informally. Is
your idea to hold another meeting with the applicant and affected neighbors, or just you and staff, or some
other arrangement? Please work with Nataiie Amos to arrange a time for the meeting and who that meeting would
include. Donna is on vacation this week.

Thank you.

Jerry Iserson
Director of Planning and Community Development
(925) 931-5600

-----Original Message-----
From: Ron Imperiale
Sent: Monday, April 03, 2006 9:07 PM
To: Jerry Iserson
Subject: PADR-1472

Mr. Iserson:

I respectfully request a review of all my emails and correspondence to you subordinates Natalie and
Donna.

I would also like to invite you to listen to a taped conversation of our last meeting, that was permitted by
and with your staff.

I believe with your interjection and guidance a compromise can be obtained, prior to City Counsel review.
This would be cost and time savings effective for both the City and for the four families that disapprove of
this proposed project.

It would also be prydent for the City and it's Mantra..

Regards;

Ron Imperiale
798 East Angela St.

6/9/2006
