<br />Orchard neighborhoods (see Attachment #8). As discussed above, staff held a neighborhood <br />meeting to receive public input on the project. Staff also received a letter from the Pleasanton <br />Village Homeowners Association (see Attachment #5) and emails from several residents (see <br />Attachment #6) commenting on the proposed project. <br /> <br />VIII. ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW <br /> <br />The proposed project is categorically exempt (Class 5, Section 15305, Minor Alterations in <br />Land Use Limitations and Class 32, Section 15332, In-Fill Development Projects) from the <br />requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA). Therefore, no <br />environmental document accompanies this report. <br /> <br />IX. STAFF RECOMMENDATION <br /> <br />Staff recommends that the Planning Commission take the following actions: <br /> <br />I. Make the Variance Findings as listed in the staff report; and <br /> <br />2.
