Page I of I

Steve Otto

From:
Sent: Sunday, October 22, 2006 3:09 PM
To: Steve Otto
Subject: SI. Elizabeth Seton church

Dear Steve.. I am a resident of Pleasant on Village and live on Alexander Way. I went to the 'pc-agenda-061025.pdf
link provided in a recent Pleasanton Village mailer and wanted to comment on the suggestion of making Pleasanton
Village parking 'permitted resident only' as a prospective solution.

It is ridiculous. First of all, as a practical matter, enforcing this will be virtually impossible and puts the onus of
enforcement on the neioghbors being impacted. Second, it transfers the burden of providing 'approved' guest parking
'passes' (or whatever) for the resident's guests onto the residents themselves - again, it is unacceptable to transfer this
new parking burden onto the neighbors who are being impacted in the first place.

Is one possible solution to eliminate the short cut by constructing a masonry wall along that part of Bowen! Alexander
where parishioners are currently walking across the dirt path? Perhaps by increasing the walking distance for the
parishioners it will encourage them to find on-site parking.

Thank you.

Greg

10/24/2006
