Trinity Lutheran Church is a beacon of light and life in the city
of Pleasanton.
2.) More than 100 Pleasanton youth participate in Christian-based
activities, each week, giving them the basics necessary to
become strong, respectable and caring members of the
Pleasanton Community.
3.) The Trinity Sonshine Preschool facility provides loving Christian-
based care and education for some 240 children (morning
session, afternoon session and single-day attendees) and they
have a waiting list of over 100. At the same time, Trinity inter-
acts with, and nurtures the siblings, parents and grandparents
of these children, reaching out to some 500 + members of the
Pleasanton community. To have to close this wonderful
program down, would be unthinkable!
9.) The Trinity Planning Committee has worked tirelessly to make this
a plan that is both considerate of our neighbors and one that is
pleasing to the city of Pleasanton. It appears to me that, no
matter how many changes are made in the plans, some folk
will take issue with it - simply to take issue - and this is
neither fair nor neighborly.
I respectfully ask that you approve the plans, as submitted, so that
Trinity Lutheran Church can go about serving this community as
best we know how.
Thank you for your consideration.
3/13/2007
