I am a resident
here and live in Danbury park. I lived in Vintage Hills and my family still resides there. At
present, it is next to impossible during the peak traffic times in the am or pm to even think of
getting out of Danbury park within a 10 minute period. The traffic is unbelievable. The thought
of traveling to my families home in Vintage Hills is at best a nightmare. My brother can get
home from his job faster than he can get through town. I am concerned that Pleasanton is
going to become another "Dublin" and turn her cheek on anything that does not have a sales
tax dollar attached. I am not for stopping all growth, but I hate to see our beautiful well planned
city become like so many with a big box on every corner, what will be next? a Costco? come
on Pleasanton, don't fall into the trap that every city needs a couple big boxes, we have
enough. I would like to see the problem of traffic situations resolved before any more cars and
trucks are put out on Valley Ave. No one wants the Stoneridge extension in there
neighborhood. how would they feel if maybe they could have the Home Depot? The noise
level from the traffic is heard at all times of the day and night and my neighbors that back up to
Valley and Santa Rita can't even enjoy the peace and quite in there own back yard.
Thank you for your consideration to keep Pleasanton a city with class and our property values
high.
