20.20.027 <br />20.20.027 Article 690 Amended In <br />Its Entirety -Solar <br />Photovoltaic Systems: <br />Article 690 of the California Build- <br />ing Standards Code 2001 Edition (24 <br />C.C.R.), and including by reference the <br />National Electrical Code, is amended in <br />its entirety to read as follows: <br />ARTICLE 690 Solar Photovoltaic <br />Systems <br />I. General <br />690.1 Scope. <br />The provisions of this article apply <br />to solar photovoltaic electrical ener- <br />gy systems, including the array cir- <br />cuit(s), inverter(s), and controller(s) <br />for such systems. <br />[See Figures 690.1(A) and (B).] <br />Solar photovoltaic systems covered <br />by this article may be interactive <br />with other electrical power produc- <br />tion sources or stand-alone, with or <br />without electrical energy storage <br />such as batteries.
