Zoninq for the property is PUD (Planned Unit
Development) - Industrial, Commercial, and Offices District.
(SR 91:427)

Mr. Mercer declared the public hearing open on the
application.

Mr. A1 Chamara, 2415 Mariner Square Drive in Alameda, as the
architect for the project, stated that the applicants are in
agreement with all the conditions made by staff and would be happy
to answer any questions in regard to the project.

There being no further testimony, Mr. Mercer declared the
public hearing closed.

Councilmember Mohr requested that the plant legend, which
names the various trees in Latin, include the common names as well.
Her major concern is that some of the trees should mature out to at
least the height of the building or more and she does not want all
dwarf trees on the project. When looking at the landscape plans it
would be easier to understand what is actually being planted if the
trees have the common names.

It was moved by Ms. Mohr, and seconded by Mr. Butler, that
Resolution No. 91-177 be adopted, approving Case-81-30-54D to allow
the construction of a one-story, 105,500 sq. ft. office building on
a 7.9 acre parcel (Lot llD) in Hacienda Business Park, subject to
conditions set forth in the Staff Report.
The roll call vote was as follows:
AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Mohr, Scribner, Tarver and Mayor
Mercer
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
ABSTAIN: None

10-15-91 20
