MATTERS INITIATED BY COUNCIL

Ms. Hosterman requested the East Bay Habitat for Humanity and the Alameda
County Waste Management Authority provide a short presentation on how they have
created a partnership for affordable housing. This could also provide an opportunity for
Council to consider it as it goes through the General Plan process.

Mr. Brozosky believed this opportunity would fit into Council's General Plan
process.

Ms. Ayala asked Ms. McKeehan to incorporate this request into a General Plan
Workshop when Council discusses affordable housing, or agendize it for a future
meeting.

Ms. Hosterman requested support from Council to agendize official support of the
League of California Cities' ballot initiative.

Mr. Brozosky suggested postponing this until Council gets through the upcoming
workshops for the General Plan and traffic related issues.

Pleasanton City Council
Minutes

29

01/20/04
