A t CONTRACT FOR CONSULTANT SERVICES REAL PROPERTY APPRAISAL THIS AGREEMENT is made and entered into this day of ~, [ : 1998, by and between the CITY OF PLEASANTON, a municipal corporation (hereinafter referred to as the "City"), and Smith & Associates whose address is 140 Town & Country Drive, Suite F, Danville, CA 94526, and telephone number is (925) 855-4950, (hereinafter referred to as the "Consultant"). WITNESSETH: A. Consultant is qualified to provide, and experienced in providing, residential property appraisals, and has offered its services for the purposes specified in this Agreement. B. In the judgment of the City, it is necessary and advisable to employ the services of Consultant for the purposes provided herein. NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual covenants, agreements and conditions contained herein, City and Consultant agree as follows: 1. Consultant's Services. Consultant shall diligently perform the services and furnish the materials, reports, drawings, and related materials as hereinafter set forth: a. Consultant shall perform all work described in Exhibit "A", Scope of Work, attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference, generally described as an appraisal of up to 34 residential lots at the proposed Pleasanton Golf Course. b. Consultant shall meet with City staff as necessary to complete the scope of work outlined in Section 1 (a) above. 2. City Services. In order to assist Consultant in this work, City shall provide, if necessary, a proposed site map, geotechnical reports, and specific plan. 3. Staff. Consultant shall assign Dennis Smith, who may not be replaced without written consent of City. 4. Sufficiency of Consultant's Work.
