Building Permits <br />Building permits may be obtained in the calendar year for <br />which Growth Management approval is given or any time in the next <br />two calendar years, except as otherwise provided herein. Thus, <br />where this Agreement identifies a Growth Management approval for <br />the year 1987, building permits for the authorized units may be <br />obtained between January 1, 1987 and December 31, 1989. <br />III. PERFECTION AND EXPIRATION OF GROWTH MANAGEMENT APPROVAL <br />A. Growth Management approval for dwelling units approved <br />by this Agreement can be perfected by obtaining building permits <br />within the period specified in Paragraph II(B). In the case <br />of detached single-family lot subdivisions, Growth Management <br />approval can also be perfected by the filing of a final map with <br />the County Recorder within the three year period specified in <br />Paragraph II(B) for the .issuance of building permits. <br />B. Once a building permit is issued, its time of expiration <br />shall be controlled by Uniform Building Code. Standards. In the <br />event of expiration of a building permit, any fees or <br />consideration paid pursuant. to this Agreement shall not be <br />refundable. <br />C. Upon expiration of the Growth Management approval or <br />building permit .issued pursuant to the Growth Management. <br />approval, the approval shall be terminated as to the Developer <br />and the City will reallocate those units in accordance with the <br />Growth Management plan. <br />- 4 - <br />
