<br />o ~g~I' <br />CONTRACT FOR CONSIILTANT SERVICES <br />WEST PLEASANTON ANNEXATION STUDY APR~1 7 1989 <br />fCI~~TY Gf PIEASANTCN <br />THIS AGREEMENT is made and entered into th3~N f^ ~.4~T~1Cf`fT <br />1989, by and between the CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON a municipal corporation (hereinafter referred to <br />as "City"), and ECONOMIC AND PLANNING SYSTEMS, (hereinafter <br />referred to ws "Consultant"). <br />w i t n e s s e t h <br />A. Consultant is qualified to provide, and experienced <br />in providing economic services and has offered its services <br />for the purposes specified in this Agreement.. <br />B. In the judgment of the City, it is necessary and <br />advisable to employ the services of Consultant for the <br />purpose of undertaking their services. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual <br />covenants, agreements and conditions contained herein, City <br />and Consultant agree as follows: <br />1. Consultant's Services. Consultant shall diligently. <br />perform the services and furnish the materials, reports, <br />maps, and so forth as hereinafter set forth: <br />a. Consultant shall perform all work described in <br />Exhibit "A", 'Scope of Services," attached <br />hereto and incorporated herein by this <br />reference. <br />b. Consultant shall meet with the technical staff <br />of the City, other pertinent agencies, and/or <br />landowners as necessary to complete the scope <br />of work outlined in Section 1(a) herein. <br />2. City Services. In order to assist Consultant in <br />this study, City sha~.l provide title reports, any existing <br />plans of the area on file, and necessary direction within a <br />reasonable time. <br />3. Sufficiency of Consultant's Work. Consultant <br />agrees that all reports, maps, and plans prepared for City <br />shall be .adequate and sufficient to meet the purposes for <br />which they are performed. <br />4. Ownership of Work. All maps, reports, work data, <br />and all other documents completed or partially completed by <br />-1- <br />
