f <br />' f <br />THE CITY OF <br />L~~S~4NTONo <br />CONTRACT FOR CONSULTANT SERVICES <br />FOR REMODEL AND ADDITION TO 200 OLD BERNAL AVENUE <br />CIVIC CENTER <br />THIS AGREEMENT is made this ~P-~ day of ~l~ 1999, by and between the CITY <br />OF PLEASANTON, a municipal corporation (herein referred to as the "City"), and ATI Architects <br />and Engineers whose address is 3860 Blackhawk Road, Danville, CA 94506, and telephone number is <br />(925) 648-8800, (hereinafter referred to as the "Consultant"). <br />WITNESSETH: <br />A. Consultant is qualified to provide, and experienced in providing architectural services and <br />has offered its services for the purposes specified in this Agreement. <br />B. In the judgment of the City, it is necessary and advisable to employ the services of <br />Consultant for the purposes provided herein. <br />NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual covenants, agreements and conditions <br />contained herein, City and Consultant agree as follows: <br />1. Consultant's Services. Consultant shall. diligently perform the services and furnish the <br />materials, repots, drawings, and related materials for architectural services at 200 Old Bernal Avenue. <br />a. Consultant shall perform all work described in Exhibit "A," Scope of <br />Work, attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference. <br />b. Consultant shall meet with the technical staff of the City, other pertinent <br />agencies, and/or landowners as necessary to complete the scope of work <br />outlined in Section 1(a) above. <br />2. Citv Services. In order to assist Consultant in this work, City shall provide, if necessary, <br />title reports, any existing plans of the area on file, necessary direction and plan checking <br />within a reasonable time. <br />3. Staff. The Project Manager for Consultant shall be Mike Goldsworthy. Consultant shall <br />not replace Mike Goldsworthy without prior approval of the City. <br />
