20.24.170 CFC Section 903.3.4.1.1 deleted-Limited area sprinkler systems. <br />Section 903.3.5.1.1 Limited area sprinkler systems is deleted <br />20.24.180 CFC Section 903.4 amended -Sprinkler system monitoring and alarms. <br />Section 903.4 is amended to read: <br />Section 903.4 <br />1. All fire protection and fire alarm systems shall be supervised to an Underwriters <br />Laboratory (UL) Listed Central Station Service. Valve monitoring, waterflow alarm(s), <br />kitchen suppression systems, clean air agent systems, manual and automatic alarm <br />systems, supervisory and trouble signals etc. shall be distinctly different and shall be <br />automatically transmitted to an approved UL Listed Central Station Service as specified <br />in NFPA 72. <br />2. Fire alarm system(s) initiation devices and notification appliances shall comply with <br />the provisions in California Fire Code Section 907. <br />20.24.190 CFC Section 907.1 Aadded -Fire alarm company permit and qualifications <br />CFC Section 907.1 A is added. <br />Section 907.1 A <br />No person(s) may design, install or service any fire alarm system or automatic fire <br />extinguishing system unless they received a permit or approval to conduct such activity <br />under the provisions of this section. <br />1. (a) The applicant has proper equipment and is sufficiently qualified to design, <br />perform installation and service of fire alarm systems. The applicant shall meet the <br />requirements of NFPA 72 System Designer, System Installer and Service Personnel <br />Qualifications. <br />20.24.200 CFC Section 907.15 amended -Fire alarm system monitoring <br />CFC Section 907.15 is amended to read: <br />Section 907.15 <br />1. (a) Change edition to NFPA 72-2006 Edition <br />(b) All fire alarm systems required by the Livermore Pleasanton Fire Department to <br />have more than one zone shall be locally annuniciated by zone and point identified. <br />Signals automatically transmitted to UL Listed Central Station shall be by zone and <br />device type. <br />20.24.210 CFC Section 907.3 amended -Where required -retroactive in existing <br />buildings and structures <br />CFC Section 907.3.1.10.4 is amended to read: <br />Section 907.3.1.10.4 <br />91 <br />
