replicas, something that could at least reflect in a 3D that might be helpful to the
Commission to see.
Chairperson Maas: But certainly nothing elaborate, because I know some of the costs of those
models, and it is ridiculous, and I certainly would not want you to go there. So if the
applicant is agreeable, that would be fine.
Commissioner Blank: Would it be difficult to resurrect some of the previous staff reports, like
Heidi's letter of November 20; is that public record?
Ms. Decker: As to that point, because it is really been a matter of discussion and meetings, and I
believe that the thoughts that have been brought forward as far as from Brian Swift and
staff, these meetings do not have minutes that have been closely taped. It is really more
of a discussion process that I think the applicant has worked through rather than a
statement-by-statement rendition.
Commissioner Blank: That's fine.
Ms. Decker: So, I would prefer moving forward, I think that what we will do is bring those
responses back to the next Planning Commission hearing so that you have that in your
toolbox, for future reference.
Commissioner Blank: Along with the turret.
Chairperson Maas: Very good. Okay, onward and upward.
Mr. McInnis: One last thing.
Chairperson Maas: I am opening the public hearing.
Mr. McInnis: So, are we going to have another hearing, or will we get the answers from Lynn.
Chairperson Maas: It sounds like you might be working some more with staff, with our
comments tonight and our directions, and then come back. It would be up to you and
staff if you want to come back for another workshop.
Commissioner Blank: I think the workshop format is very valuable for trying to get things
surfaced and flushed, because once you get into a formal hearing, there is a lot more
formality.
Chairperson Maas: A lot more at stake, but on the other hand, there is a certain point where, you
all realize that, and I know Peter and Tom well and you too, you just cannot go any
further So we leave that certainly up to you. Thank you.
24
