A summary of all adjustments included in this Mid-Term CIP is as follows: <br />TABLE X <br />SUMMARY OF MID-TERM EXPENDITURE CHANGES <br />Project Description CIP SectionYearAmountJustification <br />Upgrade Traffic Signal Streets2008/09 $55,000 Additional funding is <br />Master Software recommended to the currently <br />funded project to meet full scope <br />of the project. Current funding is <br />$55,000. Total project cost is <br />now $110,000. <br />Annual Resurfacing of Streets2008/09 $750,000 Additional funding of $250,000 <br />Various City Streets through ($250,000/ annually is recommended to this <br />2010/11 annually) existing project to address the <br />demand for street maintenance. <br />With this funding, annual funding <br />for this project will be $2.5 <br />million. Increase met with State <br />bond funding for street <br />improvements. <br />Americans With Streets2008/08 $100,000 This new project will develop an <br />Disabilities Act (ADA) inventory of the status of existing <br />Sidewalk/Ramp curb areas to plan for ADA future <br />Assessment curb cuts. <br />Streets2008/09 $150,000 This new project provides design <br />Railroad Quiet Zones - <br />services for modification to <br />Design Only <br />railroad crossings to create <br />"quiet zones." A construction <br />schedule and funding source will <br />be determined following the <br />design effort. <br />Dolores Bengtson Aquatic Parks2008/09 $100,000 The previously funded project <br />Center Deck and provides the design services <br />Mechanical Building needed to construct <br />Improvements -Design improvements to pool decks and <br />Onlythe pool's mechanical equipment <br />and building. A construction <br />schedule and funding source will <br />be determined following the <br />design effort. <br />Bernal Property Parks2008/09 $2,500,000This previously funded project is <br />Improvement Reserve recommended to address the <br />Bernal Property Financing Plan <br />that anticipates an allocation of <br />$2.5 million in FY 2008/09 for <br />future Bernal improvements. <br />This funding is in addition to an <br />existing reserve of $567,113. <br />ëì <br /> <br />
