By this letter, the County and City seek
to memorialize their agreement pursuant to section 1.8 of the Agreement to extend the term of the
Second Closing Date with respect to Segment 7 by 3 months to a new Second Closing Date of October l 1
30, 2015.
This extension of time will permit further groundwater testing required by the Regional Water Quality o
Control Board that is necessary for the regulatory remediation process on an adjacent service station, N
closure of which is a condition of the sale of Segment 7. The parties anticipate that the additional
required testing and reporting of results to the Regional Water Quality Control Board will be completed
during this time period.
The parties further agree to meet and confer prior to the new expiration of the Second Closing Date with
respect to Segment 7 to determine whether additional extensions of time are necessary or desirable.
By signature below, each party confirms the extension of the Second Closing Date with respect to
Segment 7 of the Transportation Corridor to October 30, 2015, as further described above.
WC*.
