Table 5 - Occupation of Household Head shows that what have been <br />called "middle class," or "white collar" occupations predominate <br />among those workers residing in Pleasanton. This factor has <br />remained fairly stable over time with "managers" and "sales <br />workers" increasing somewhat as employment groups. Again the <br />variable of income is relevant. Lower paid workers may not <br />be able to afford suitable housing in Pleasanton.
