<br /> <br />Meeting Minutes Page 1 of 3 Planning Commission <br /> <br /> <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />REGULAR MEETING MINUTES <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Wednesday, May 27, 2026 <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER, PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE, AND ROLL CALL <br /> <br />Chair Pace called the regular meeting of the Planning Commission to order at 7:03 p.m. from <br />the City Council Chamber located at 200 Old Bernal Avenue. <br /> <br />Commissioner Morgan led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> <br />Present: Commissioners Dave Jagoe, Anurag Jain, Ken Morgan, and Chair Brandon Pace <br /> <br />Absent: Commissioner Stephanie Wedge <br /> <br />AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> <br />Staff requested to continue Item 6 to June 24, 2026, Planning Commission meeting. <br /> <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> <br />1. Actions of the City Council <br /> <br />Recommendation: Receive the report. <br /> <br />2. Approve the meeting minutes of May 13, 2026 <br /> <br />Recommendation: Approve the meeting minutes. <br /> <br />3. P26-0222, 4301 Hacienda Drive, Fusion Academy- Application for a Conditional Use Permit to <br />expand an existing private school into the adjacent Suite 100, increase the number of students <br />from 40 to 65 on site at any one time, and increase the number of faculty/staff from 20 to 33 on <br />site at any one time. This project is categorically exempt from the California Environmental <br />Quality Act (CEQA), pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15301, Class 1, Existing Facilities. <br /> <br />Recommendation: Approve and adopt Resolution No. PC-2026-13 as recommended. <br /> <br />MOTION: It was m/s by Jagoe/Jain to approve the Consent Calendar, as recommended. <br />Motion passed by the following roll call vote: <br /> <br />Ayes: Commissioners Jagoe, Jain, Morgan, and Chair Pace <br />Noes: None <br />Abstain: None <br />Absent: Commissioner Wedge
