REAL PROPERTY PURCHASE CONTRACT <br />THIS AGREEMENT is made and entered into this 21st day of <br />January , 1987, by and between PLEASANTON JOINT SCHOOL <br />DISTRICT OF ALAMEDA AND CONTRA COSTA COUNTIES (hereinafter <br />"Owner") and the CITY OF PLEASANTON, a municipal corporation <br />(hereinafter "City"). <br />W I T N E S S E T H <br />WHEREAS, PLEASANTON JOINT SCHOOL DISTRICT OF ALAMEDA AND <br />CONTRA COSTA COUNTIES owns approximately two acres of land which <br />has one office building, the School Administration Center, built <br />on the land located at 123 Main Street in the City of Pleasanton; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, City desires to acquire the subject property from <br />Owner for road right-of-way and the purchase of the School <br />Administration Center for a City office building; and <br />WHEREAS, Owner is willing to sell City the land needed for <br />these purposes; and <br />WHEREAS, Owner desires an option to allow the Owner <br />sufficient time to renovate office space on other school <br />property; and <br />WHEREAS, City is willing to accept an option for purchase of <br />the School Administration Center; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the parties agree as follows: <br />- 1 - <br />
