RESOLUTION NO. 2026-005 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> APPROVING A SUBSTANTIAL AMENDMENT TO FY 2025/26 ANNUAL ACTION <br /> PLAN FOR THE USE OF FEDERAL COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT <br /> (CDBG) FUNDS AND APPROVING RELATED BUDGET AMENDMENTS IN THE <br /> CDBG FUND (FUND 123) <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton as an entitlement community receives Community <br /> Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding on an annual basis from the U.S. Department of <br /> Housing and Urban Development (HUD). As part of the requirements to receive this funding, <br /> the City must prepare and submit an Annual Action Plan (Action Plan) to HUD; and <br /> WHEREAS, on July 15, 2025, the City Council by Resolution No. 2025-038 approved <br /> the City's proposed FY 2025/26 Annual Action Plan, which lists the projects and activities to be <br /> funded with CDBG funds in FY 2025/26 covering July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2026, to be <br /> submitted to HUD, and on November 21, 2025, HUD approved the City's FY 2025/26 Annual <br /> Action Plan; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City must amend its FY 2025/26 Annual Action Plan in order to allocate <br /> an additional $224,630 in federal CDBG funds to the Tri-Valley Shiloh Rebuilding project. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES <br /> RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER THE FOLLOWING: <br /> SECTION 1. The City Council approves the Substantial Amendment to the FY 2025/26 <br /> Annual Action Plan as shown in the attached Exhibit A and directs its submittal by staff to HUD <br /> for review and approval. <br /> SECTION 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and <br /> adoption. <br /> SECTION 3.
