//a'
SYSTEM DESCRIPTION
DOOLAN- PRIME AND RF SITE
The Doolan Prime and RF site was selected to provide coverage to the cities of
Livermore and Pleasanton in the ALCO East cell. This site will be an ASTRO P25
simulcast Prime with RF. Motorola will supply and install the Doolan site designed to
support 8 channels. The Equipment will be located in the new shelter that was built to
support the new LMR sytrem.
The Doolan LMR Equipment racks are 7.5' tall and will be positioned on the floor.
The cable tray and earthquake bracing will be configured for the shelter. (See the Site
Equipment Rack drawings for equipment layout information)
Motorola is providing a 48VDC power system to support the RF Site equipment. The
48VDC Power System design will account for 25% growth. The power rack is 7 1/2'
tall and 2.5' wide. The Battery Backup system will provide two -hours of battery back-
up for the RF and Prime Site equipment. (See the Site Equipment Rack drawings for
equipment layout information)
The City of Livermore/ EBRCS will need to provide commercial power to the site.
The 48VDC power system requires Five separate 30Amp 220VAC circuits and One
20AMP 120VAC circuit.
The proposed coverage design is based on installing the duplexed antenna at 60'. The
(800 MHz) antenna that is planned at this site is the Antel BCR 80013 -25. All 8
channels will be on one combiner and one multicoupler system. The TRAK GPS
antennas are planned to be installed on the building.
Site Name Latitude (N) Longitude (W) TX /RxAntenna
Height
EBRCS Ala County East
Cell Si muulcast ast System
Doolan 37 42 38.5" 121 49' 06.5" 60' (Duplexed
antenna)
MOTOROLA
Use or disclosure of this proposal is subject to the restrictions on the title page.
Motorola Confidential Poroprieta v
May 15, 2006
