PLEASANTON FIRE DEPARTMENT <br /> <br />EXHIBIT A-2 <br /> <br />SUPPLEMENTAL ASSESSMENT <br /> <br />1. At the City of Pleasanton's request, the COUNTY has established a supplemental <br />assessment in the City of Pleasanton to offset the costs of providing Emergency Medical <br />Services. The COUNTY shall pay the CITY $6.00 per benefit assessment unit minus a <br />1.7% service charge required by the auditor's office for the collection of the supplemental <br />assessment. <br /> <br />The supplemental assessment will be determined by the following formula: <br /> <br />Supplemental = $6.00 X Number of benefit units - 1.7% Assessor's <br />Assessment in Pleasanton* Fees <br /> <br />2. These funds are payable to the CITY in two equal installments upon invoicing the <br />COUNTY on December 31 and April 30. <br /> <br />*Includes the City of Pleasanton and Tax Rate Areas served by the City of Pleasanton <br />to include 75007 (Remon Tract), 75008/75010/75011 (Castlewood Country Club), and <br />75009 (Happy Valley Area). <br /> <br />\ndo\supp.pfd <br /> <br /> <br />
