20.24.020 Board of Appeals amended - Board of Appeals <br /> <br />Section 103.1.4.1 and Section 103.1.4.2 of the adopted Uniform Fire Code <br /> is amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />In order to determine the suitability of alternative material <br />and type of construction and to provide for reasonable <br />interpretations of the provisions of this Code, there shall be <br />and hereby is established a Board of Appeals, the members <br />of which shall be the City Council of the City of <br />Pleasanton. The City Manager shall act as secretary to the <br />Board. The City Manager shall call all meetings of the <br />Board. <br /> <br />20.24.030 Section 1003 amended - Automatic Fire Protection Systems. <br /> <br />Section 1003 of the adopted Uniform Fire Code is amended to read as <br /> follows: <br /> <br />Notwithstanding any other provision of the Pleasanton <br />Municipal Code, including this Uniform Fire Code, <br />installation of automatic Fire protection systems shall be <br />required as provided in Section 20.08.045 of the Pleasanton <br />Municipal Code. <br /> <br />20.24.035 Amendments to Uniform Fire Code. <br /> <br />The Uniform Fire Code adopted in this chapter by reference <br />is amended by the additions, deletions, and amendments <br />thereto as set forth in this Chapter. Reference numbers <br />herein are taken from the Uniform Fire Code and <br />Standards. <br /> <br />20.24.040 Definitions. <br /> <br />A. Whenever the following terms are used in the Uniform Fire <br />Code: <br /> <br />(1) "Chief Executive Officer" means the City Manager <br />of the City of Pleasanton; <br /> <br />(2) <br /> <br />"Corporation Counsel" means the City Attorney. <br /> 98 <br /> <br /> <br />
