The proposed Centerpointe/Ponderosa plan when complete will result in a reduction of approximately 27,000
square feet of actual building space, a reduction in building massing (a 24,108 square foot three -story Sanctuary
and a 29,718 square foot 3 -story gymnasium replaced by single family homes), and a reduction in traffic from
the currently approved church plan at build -out. Further this plan results in the same level of water usage as the
current church campus. These are incontrovertible facts that are contained in the various approval documents.
What Centerpointe Church is attempting to do, given its need to relocate, is leave a lasting legacy of a
neighborhood that will be good for the surrounding residents, good for the corner of Valley and Busch, and
good for the community.
Honorable members of the City Council, your vote will determine the final shape and impact of this property.
This is an opportunity to support a thoughtful, well- designed plan that is truly in the community's best interest.
The adjoining neighbors in the Ironwood residences and the Gardens at Ironwood Apartments, the families of
Centerpointe Church, the families of Montessori School of Pleasanton, and the city itself, due to reduced
building square footage, reduced traffic, and no water use increase, all benefit from approval of this plan.
On behalf of the entire membership of our Church, I urge your yes vote on Tuesday night.
Click here to report this email as spam.
2
