Maria Hoey _
Subject FW:LUND RANCH----Copy of letter sent by mail to Sycamore Heights HOA
From:
Sent:Wednesday,October 07,2015 8:31 AM
To:Adam Weinstein;Mayor and City Council
Subject:LUND RANCH--Copy of letter sent by mall to Sycamore Heights HOA
Oct 7, 2015
Sycamore Heights HOA
5716 Dakin Court
Pleasanton, CA 94566
Mr. David VS'Ison, President
777 California Ave
Palo Alto, CA 94304
CC: Pleasanton City Council
Adam Weinstein, Pleasanton Planning Manager
Subject: Road connection from proposed Lund Ranch development to the Sycamore Heights neighborhood.
Mr. Wilson:
During the most recent Pleasanton Planning Commission meeting, City staff responded to Chair Allen's inquiry if it
was possible for a road to be constructed from Lund Ranch to Sycamore Heights without crossing a 25%grade.
City staff reported to Chair Allen that a road connection can be made WITHOUT crossing a 25%grade between the
two properties, with the approval of the Sycamore Heights HOA.
Many residents of Sycamore Heights have provided input at the Planning Commission workshops&meetings
stating their opposition to a road crossing a 25%grade. They have not stated any opposition to the development, or
a road connection into the Sycamore Heights development.
The City Council will consider the application to develop Lund Ranch during their Oct 20,2015 meeting.
The recommendation from the Planning Commission is for the Lund Ranch development to connect into Sycamore
Heights via Sunset Creek Lane.
It is important to get the HOA position regarding this development and connection to Lund Ranch.
Would you please have the following answered so that the City Council has information to make an informed
decision:
1) Has any party approached the Sycamore Heights HOA requesting relocation of the road through Tract 7193?
2) Would the Sycamore Heights HOA approve relocation of the road, and its connection into Sycamore Heights so that
a road crossing a 25%+grade on the Lund property is avoided?
Sincerely,
John Bauer
Click kis to report this email as spam.
1
