S Station Off: Lock all pumps out of operation and close bypass valve. ■ Other requirements: • PLC shall communicate the operation mode status to City TESCO panel. • Transition between bypass and booster mode shall be coordinated such that pumps do not operate unless valve is fully closed.Time delays may be required. • Control sequence and logic shall provide for smooth operation and minimize hydraulic transients. Time delays and ramp times shall be fully adjustable as control set points. • Suction and discharge pressure gauges; range from zero to 125%of largest pump shutoff head (min) • No butterfly valves shall be included in the station; resilient seated gate valves shall be utilized. • Protective Coating: Epoxy Coating(SPECIFY IN QUOTE)on all equipment and piping unless stainless steel o All piping and pumps shall be purple(Pantone 512) • Suction/Discharge Diameter: 8"OR 10" (SPECIFY IN QUOTE)for large pumps;SPECIFY IN QUOTE for jockey pump(with pipe fittings to transition to piping sized for future large pump) • Spare Parts: o 1 mechanical seal per pump supplied • Complete Operations and Maintenance Manual for complete system o 5 hardcopies o 1 digital (pdf)copy on CD/DVD • Only product water(recycled water)shall be supplied for seal flushing. No potable water will be provided. Manufacturer's skid/equipment shall provide all provisions for flushing,as needed. • Structural design of concrete pad foundations to support the pump skid and enclosure, incorporating anchorage requirements,shall be provided by the Supplier and shall be prepared by a Registered Structur, • • -- in the State of California and shall be in compliance with California Building Code a 2016. Design shall include piping penetrations. • The Supplier shall provide a ful, minimum 1-year Warrantee against manufacturing defects from the date of start-up. o A one-year inspection will be performed at the end of the warrantee period. o Work included under the warrantee shall include labor, materials and equipment required to correct deficiencies at no cost to the City. SUBMITTAL OF QUOTATIONS • Quotations shall be responsive to the requirements included above and shall provide a complete and operable system upon installation by the Owner's Contractor. • Pricing shall include all equipment, materials,structural and anchorage design,shipping/freight from the place of manufacturer to the Owner's designated location (Pleasanton,California), sales tax and all other fees. Pricing shall be provided on the attached Quotation Form. • Quotation shall include a bill of materials and details for all items marked "SPECIFY IN QUOTE" above. • Quotation shall detail any proposed deviations from the requirements stated above,though the Owner reserves the right to reject any proposed deviation City of Pleasanton RW Booster Station Request for Quotation 8
