We currently own a home in the
Valley Trails Community where we raised our three children. We do not live in it now but will in the
future. Pleasanton is our home, Valley Trails is our home. We raised our 3 children there.
One of the features that we always thought was special about Valley Trails was the park that meanders to the
back of the development. It is an impressive feature. Unfortunately, another feature which has not been all
that impressive is the property owned by the church at the back. We have hoped, along with our neighbors,
that one day a conscientious developer would come along and solve the problem.
We understand that Pondarosa Homes, a local well respected developer, has offered to buy and develop the
church's property. A description of the lots and homes that is proposed appears to fit right in. We also
understand that Pondarosa has offered to build a clubhouse and restrooms in the park. Wow! We can not let
this developer get away. What an absolutely wonderful opportunity, and what a great solution for the
church's very long term problem property.
We are counting on the City Council to make every effort to ensure that the development proposed by
Pondarosa including the clubhouse and restrooms moves forward as quickly as is possible. Thank you.
Sincerely,
Bill and Barbara Foster
_= Virus-free. www.avast.com
Click here to report this email as spam.
1
