Lighting fixtures are present, immediately outside all building exits, based on <br />location of the fixtures, they should be able to provide adequate egress <br />illumination. Current codes require emergency power for fixtures at the landing <br />of the exit discharge. There was no evidence of unit batteries in these fixtures, so <br />it is assumed that emergency power is riot present. <br />Typical Lighting at Exit Discharges <br />4. Recommended Correction: <br />a) It is recommended that all exterior building mounted lighting and <br />wiring be replaced with new LED fixtures, Title 24 compliant controls, <br />and 90 minute emergency battery back ups where required for egress. <br />1.
