THIS I'40D~]CA~TON OF CONTRACT IS A MODIFICATION OF CONTRACT, executed as of · 1979, be and between County of Alameda, hereinafter referred to as "County" and the City of Pleasanton, hereinafter referred to as "City." W I TNE S SETH : WHEREAS, the parties hereto have entered in that certain agreement for fire protection services dated March 11, 1979; and WHEREAS, parties to this agreement now wish to make certain changes, extending the contract for one year and modifying the payments thereunder. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT MUTUALLY AGREED that said contract be modified in the following respects: 1. Paragraph 3 is added to Section II to read as follows: "Notwithstanding other provisions, County will pay the City for services provided for the year beginning July 1, 1979, and ending June 30, 1980, a minimum of the following amounts in two equal payments, payable on December 1 and June 1:" Service Area Amount At 1964 Remen Tract At 1965 Castlewood At 1965-2 Happy Valley At 1965-3 Stanley Boulevard $ 1,037.50 $16,934.50 $ 8,301.00 $ 765.50 2.
