AGREEMENT <br /> FOR <br />FIRE PROTECTIOX SERVICES <br /> <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, <br /> <br /> _, 2~., by and between <br />hereinafter referred to as "County," and <br />hereinafter referred to as "City," <br /> <br /> W I TN E S S E TH: <br /> <br />made and entered into this II~k day of <br /> the C~TY OF ALAMEDA, <br /> the CITY OF PLEASANTON, <br /> <br />area described in Group Exhibit "A" and made a part of this <br />agreement. <br /> <br /> 2. City to provide fire protection <br /> <br />services to the <br /> <br /> WHERE,.S, County did establish County Service Areas F-1964-1, <br /> ~nd F-l~65z3. <br />F-1965~1 and F-1965-2 ~escrzoe~ zn Group Exhibit "A," for the <br /> <br />provision of structural fire protection; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, County is desirous of contracting with City for the <br />performance of the hereinafter described fire protection services <br />within the boundaries of the land described in Group Exhibit "A"; <br />and <br /> <br /> W~EREAS, City is agreeable to rendering such services on the <br />terms and conditions hereinafter set forth; and <br /> <br /> k~EREAS, such contracts are authorized and provided for by <br />the provisions of Chapter 5, Division 7, Title 1, <br /> <br />Division 2, Title 3, of the Government Code; <br /> NOW, <br /> I. <br /> <br /> <br />
