AGREEb~NT <br />FOR <br />FIRE PROTECTION <br /> <br />SERVICES <br /> <br /> THIS AGRE~iE~T, made and entered into this ll~k day of <br /> ~r~,. 1974, by and between the COb~TY OF ALAMEDA, <br /> · <br /> <br />hereinafter referred to as "County," and the CITY OF PLEASANTON, <br />hereinafter referred to as "City," <br /> <br /> W I T N E S S E T H: <br /> <br /> ~HEREAS, County did establish County Service Areas F-1964-1, <br /> gnd F-l~65z3. <br />F-1965-1 and F-1965-2 cescrzoe~ zn Group Exhibit '~," for the <br /> <br />provision of structural fire protection; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, County is desirous of contracting with City for the <br />performance of the hereinafter described fire protection services <br />within the boundaries of the land described in Group Exhibit "A"; <br />an~ <br /> <br /> ~CHEREAS, City is agreeable to rendering such services on the <br />terms and conditions hereinafter set forth; and <br /> <br /> ~HER~AS, such contracts are authorized and provided for by <br />the provisions of Chapter 5, Division 7, Title 1, and Chapter 2.2, <br />Division 2, Title 3, of the Government Code; <br /> <br /> MOW, %~HEREFORE, iT-IS AGP~ED AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> I. SCOPE <br /> <br /> 1. City to provide fire protection services.to the <br /> <br />area described in Group Exhibit "A" and made a part of this <br /> <br />agreement. <br /> <br /> 2. <br />and on the <br /> <br /> Said service shall be provided in the same manner <br /> sgme level as provided for City residents. <br /> !I.
