A G R E E H E ~l T <br /> <br /> PRO.tEC ~±~: SER fIC~S <br />FIRE "~-~'~ ~ '~ <br /> <br /> THIS AGREF2m,~, made and entered into this day of <br /> <br />197o ~ by and between the COUI[~f OF AL~.~DA~ hereinafter referred to as <br /> <br />" " the~CI~f OF <br />County~ and PLEAS;2iTON~' hereinafter referred to as "City~" <br /> <br /> W I T N E S S E T H: <br /> <br /> }~{EREAS, County did establish CoumCy Service Areas F-1964-1~ F-lg~5-1~ <br /> <br />F-1965-2~ and ~-!9op-3~ described in Group E_hzb~ for the provision of <br /> <br />structural fire protection; ~nd <br /> <br /> I~tfEi~EAS~ County is desirous of contracting with Cl~y for the performance <br />of the hereinafter described fire protection services within the boundaries of <br />the land described in Group Exhibit "A"; and <br /> <br /> %~P~EAS, City is agreeable to rendering such services on the terms and <br />conditions hereinafter set forth; and <br /> <br /> ?~[EREAS: such contracts sre authorized mhd prodded for by the provisions <br />of Chapter 5~ Di,,~isiOn 7, Title 1s and Chspter 2.2, Division 2~ Title 3~ of <br />the Government Code; <br /> <br /> NOW,THEREFORE, iT IS AGREED AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> I. SCOPE <br /> <br /> 1. City to provide fire protection services to the area <br />described in Group Exhibit "A" and made a part of this agreement. <br /> <br /> 2. Said service shall be pro~ided in the s~me manner and on <br />the same level as provided for City residents. <br /> <br /> II. PAY~,~'~ <br /> <br />1.
