A G RE E ME N T <br /> <br />FIRE PROTECTION SERVICES <br /> <br /> CLERK'S F:LE CC; <br />App"eyed as 'Lo form <br />RICHARD j..r,,:CCEE, County Counsel <br /> <br /> Deputy County Cou=::cl <br /> <br /> THIS AGRE~,~T, made and entered into this / ~7 day of ~ ~/~ , <br />19 ~ , by and between the COUNTY OF ~LDe,~DA, hereinafter referred to as <br />"County," and the CI~f OF PLEAS~TON~ hereinafter referred to as "City," <br /> <br /> WITNES SETH: <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, County did establish County Sera'ice Areas F-1964-1, F-1965-1, <br />F-1965-2, m~d F-1965-3, described in Group E~hibit "A"~ for the provision of <br />structural fire protection; and <br /> <br /> WHERF~LS, County is desirous of contracting with City for the performance <br />of the hereinafter described fire protection services within the boundaries of <br />the land described in Group Exhibit "A"; and <br /> <br /> ~gHEREAS, City is agreeable to rendering such services on the terms and <br />conditions hereinafter set forth; and <br /> <br /> %.~REAS, such contracts are authorized and provided for by the provisions <br />of Chapter 5, Division 7, Title l, and Chapter 2.2, Division 2: Title 3, of <br />the Gore m~ment Code; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS AGREED AS FOLL0~'~: <br /> <br /> I. SCOPE <br /> <br /> 1. City to provide fire protection services to the area <br />described in Group Exhibit "A" and made a part of this agreement. <br /> <br /> 2. Said service shall be pro~_ded in the same manner and on <br />the s~* level as provided for City residents. <br /> <br /> Ii. PAIq,~NT <br /> <br /> 1.
