2. It is understood that the above payments are for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1971, and that prior to Merch i of each yeer City will notify County of the requested a~ount of such payments for the next fiscsl year° a. The above requested pay~ents are subject to approval of County and the inclusion of an amount in County's preliminary budget. b. If the ~mount of the charges csnnot be agreed upon ~ud no lkmds are included in County's budget for said fire protection services, the contract is void. -~ III. GE~,~PJ~L COi,~ITI0~S 1. For the purpose of performing said services, City shall ~urnish and supply all necessary labor, supervision, equipment~ communication facilities and s~pplies necessary to msintain the level of service to be ren- dered hereunder. ~. The rendition of services to be performed under this agree- ment~ the standards of performance, the discipline of officers, and other matters incidental to the performance of such services and the control of per- sonnel so e~loyed~ shall remsin in City! The determinetion of the Fire Chief of City shsll be final and conclusive as between the partias hereto as to the extent of the duties and functions to be rendered hereunder, or the level or manner of performance of such service. 3- For the purpose of p~rforming such services end functions, and for'the purpose of giving official status to the performance thereof, every City officer and e~loyee engaged in performing ~uy such ser~ce ~nd function shall be deemed to be sn officer or an employee of County while per- forming services for County, which service is ~ithin the scope of this egree- ment. iV.
